HVMM: the Trading Course
The contents of the course is exactly as it is described on the sales page, but the important thing about the contents is whether or not it can teach you to become a more efficient trader. If you didn’t feel that there was some room for improvement you wouldn’t be reading this page, indeed some of you may be starting from scratch.
So what we want to know is whether or not this course can not only teach beginners how to trades effectively but also teach traders with experience how to get more out of their trades. This also needs to be achieved so that everyone can work at their own pace.

Before looking through the course I was confident that I would know most of what was in it, but could I learn anything new that I would take into my own training? To find out I was going to have to sit through a lot of information I already know which was going to be pretty tedious. You can’t imagine Tiger Woods wanting to sit and ready a golf swing guide can you!
HVMM Indicator Software
The HVMM team state that this is one of the most important parts to the course. The custom indicators that they have programmed specifically for the futures, stock, options and forex markets are unique to High Velocity Market Master, so there will not be many other traders using them. Well only other HVMM members anyway. I know that a lot of courses don’t design their own indicators so I see this as a positive as the more people to use them the less effective they become.
Training Disc 1
This is primarily an introduction to the course where you are shown the different aspects and where to find the materials you will need to progress through the training. There is also a section that talks you through the installation of the indicators and platform set up. This is a quick disc but one that needs to be looked at to familiarize yourself with the course.
Training Disc 2
This disc continues on well from the previous disc, teaching you more about the indicators and how to read them properly. This will help you understand how to identify your entry set ups and what you profit target should be. You are also taught about the protective stop, trades sequences, minimizing risk in a bad trade, re-entering profitable trades and using the HVMM calculator properly.
The first two discs certainly cover the basics, everything that you need to know is there. Traders who have some experience will be going over old ground but there are also some important bits of information that are specific to this course so it’s not advisable that you miss it out.
Training Disc 3
Withing this training disc you are shown what to do when special situation occur. What are special situations? This is not something that you will have to worry about in the majority of trades that you make, but very occasionally some different happens and it is important that traders know how to deal with these situations. You are taught how to deal with a number of different scenarios but I won’t go in to each one as I could be writing about them all day. What I will say is that you are taken through actual examples in eight easy to follow walk throughs.
Training Disc 4
Here you are introduced to System II which comes as an extra part the High Velocity Market Master. The idea behind System II is to show you how to make minor changes to the rules that you will follow in order to get even more our of the trades you make. I like the thinking behind this section, but I do worry that it will confuse a lot of beginners.
My suggestion to any beginners looking to buy this course would be to complete the rest of the course and then come back and revisit this when you have a better overall understanding. However they do try and make it as easy as possible and once again include a number of walk throughs to help demonstrate System II.
Training Disc 5
This disc has some juicy information in it and was probably the one I enjoyed working through the most as it covers trade secrets. If you have ever wondered what the difference is between day trading and swing trading then you will learn how it each method can impact how you approach your day.
No course would be complete without some mention of the trading mindset and the important role it plays for all traders. In fact, in my opinion this is one of the most important factors of trading and can make the difference between success and failure. Most people think they know about this but still let psychology dictate their trading.
You will also learn about the differences between time frames, how outside news can make a difference to how you trade and much more. I am not going to go in to detail about each specific section on this video, but I will say that this last disc is where you really start to see Mark’s expertise shine through. There really is a lot of helpful and important information here that can help any trader no matter how much experience they may have.
HVMM Trading Manual and Guide
The two booklets that come with the course are vital to your success when using the methods that you learn. This is where the HVMM strategy is taught and how it links with everything that you have already covered in the course. I won’t go deep in to the specifics otherwise this review will take you too long to read, but you should know that it is extremely easy to follow and does knit everything together very well and can be used as a reference when you start making trades.
The Guide to Markets and Time Frames book helps you indentify the best markets and which time frames to trade. How you use this will depend specifically on you and the times you want to trades. This is important to understand as it is dependant on the times that the markets are open, which varies. You will obviously be learning about time frames for all the different markets, so if you are only interested in Forex, for example, then you will be able to jump straight to the Forex section and can bypass the rest.
Access to the Owners Club
The owners club is optional, although there are some benefits to being a member as you will have access to additional training material that is not included in the rest of the course. I don’t believe it is essential, certainly not to trades with experience, but beginners may find it helpful as you can find extra walk throughs and see expert traders using the system themselves, which can be invaluable – especially when you see them making money. This would give you huge incentive and confidence.
My Conclusion
I have gone through each and every part of the training material provided and I do think that this course can teach anyone how to trade and make profit. Showing people how to trade is easy, but then so is losing money in the process. I do believe that beginners can learn quickly, at their own pace and will soon have the confidence to trade in a live account.
Advanced traders will not take too much from it and it would probably be a waste of time and money depending on how advanced you think you are. If you are making a little money trading but want to make more then you can use this course to refine your skills, but if you are already making a good living then I don’t think that Mark can add anything to your trading experience.
There are a few areas that could do with more explanation but nothing that would stop anyone from making good money in a short amount of time so long as the course is followed as it is laid out. You also get the chance to try the course and see for yourself before you fully commit. The course comes with a 30 days money back guarantee which is extremely helpful as you can see for yourself if it is something that you can work with.
So It’s Not All good Then?
Courses like this one are certainly not cheap. It’s a bit of a catch 22, as the people looking to buy such courses are generally looking for ways to make extra money, as times are a hard and money is tight. This makes the cost of the course even harder for many people to come up with which I totally understand – I was in the same situation myself before I finally made the break through. And it’s not only the cost of the course, as you also need to find money to invest as well. Sadly there is no alternative, these course cost money, fact. You can find courses online that cost a fraction of what High Velocity Market Master does, but they are a waste of time and will not teach you anything worthwhile.
If you are prepared to pay the money and give it a go then it could turn out to be the best investment you ever made. If you absorb the information provided and are determined to make it work then you can go a long way and there is every chance you will one day look back and thank the day you went for it – I know I do.
I mentioned above that I felt there were some areas that could do with a little more explanation. It may not be vital to be successful, but I do feel that you should know as much as you can if you are serious about becoming a trader.
